Pete Masucci

Chairman of the Board


Pete Masucci is the Managing Director, joined New Mountain in 2004. He was previously associated with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), where he focused on private equity investments across a number of industries. From 1997 to 2000, he was an analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Departments of Goldman Sachs, where he evaluated and executed a number of strategic transactions. He is Chairman of the Board or Director of 3E, BMI, Circana, Homrich Berg and Lincoln Investment. He previously served as the Chairman of the Board of SNL Financial and ACA Compliance Group, and was the lead director or director of Blue Yonder, Deltek, DRB Systems, InComm, Inmar, Legends Hospitality, OneDigital, Sparta Systems and Valet Waste.
 
Mr. Masucci received his B.A. with highest distinction in Finance with an Accounting emphasis from the University of Iowa in 1997 where he was an Academic All-American. Mr. Masucci received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2004.

Gandharv Bedi

Director at New Mountain Capital


Gandharv Bedi joined New Mountain in 2014. He previously worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Credit Suisse in New York. Mr. Bedi currently serves on the Board of Directors of Profile Products and 3E. He received his B.S. in Economics with concentrations in finance and accounting from The Wharton School, graduating magna cum laude.

Jack Qian

Managing Director at New Mountain Capital


Jack Qian joined New Mountain in 2007. He previously worked in the Global Technology Group at Morgan Stanley. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Accolite Digital, emids, and 3E. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Blue Yonder, Circana, Cloudmed, Convey Health, Datavant, DRB Systems, Equian, and Sparta Systems. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, in Economics and Mathematics from Yale University.

Mike Chinn

Partner at Endicott


Mike Chinn joined Endicott Capital as a Partner in 2019 with over 25 years of experience in the information services sector. He began his career as an analyst at SNL Financial and rose to lead the company as President in 2000 and then CEO in 2008. Mike led SNL through successive phases of rapid growth, scale, and global expansion. After completing a recapitalization transaction with New Mountain Capital in 2011, SNL doubled revenue to almost $300M in four years through strong organic growth and several acquisitions. In 2015, SNL was sold to S&P Global for $2.2B, and Mike was named President of the $1.8B revenue Market Intelligence division where he and the leadership team significantly improved organic revenue growth and profitability. Mike is a board member at 3E and provides guidance and coaching to the executive team on strategy and talent development.

Will Pappas

Partner at Endicott


Will Pappas joined Endicott Capital as a Partner in 2019 after a career spanning over 25 years in the information services and software industry. Prior to Endicott, Will was Chief Commercial Officer and part of the management team at S&P Global. S&P acquired SNL Financial in 2015 for $2.2B, where Will was instrumental in growing the company’s revenue from $20M to $300M. After leading the commercial organization at S&P Global Market Intelligence (SNL + CapitalIQ). Will led sales at Kensho Technologies, a machine learning and artificial intelligence start-up that sold to S&P Global for $550M. Will is a board member at 3E and provides guidance and coaching to the executive team on their commercial organization and strategy.

Mary Draves

Board Member of 3E


Mary Draves is the President of MD and Associates Consulting specializing in environmental, health and safety, sustainability and ESG practices. Draves is the former Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) for Dow, Inc. Draves expertise spans over three decades in the materials science and chemical industry using collaborative leadership, curiosity, and the simple and practical application of knowledge to deliver results.  She has held numerous roles in sustainability, EH&S, manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, environmental matters, public policy, government and community affairs while with Dow.  Draves also served as the Secretary of the Environmental Health and Safety and Technology committee of the board. 

As Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President of Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) for Dow, Draves used science and innovation to drive transformative and sustainable change. She was responsible for corporate EH&S governance and corporate sustainability, including the reporting and disclosure of Dow’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) performance.  Draves was instrumental in leading Dow’s 2025 Sustainability goals while shaping Dow’s sustainability targets to specifically address climate protection and advance a circular economy.  Draves led Dow’s groundbreaking Valuing Nature Goal, which represents the first-ever commitment by a corporation to formally factor nature into its business decisions. Concurrently, Draves led the company’s global EH&S organization, protecting the health and safety of all team Dow and the communities in which the company operated.  Under her leadership the organization had best in a decade EH&S and fatality free performance while maintaining business continuity.   

Draves represented Dow in wide ranges of forums, including Davos, COP26, and Greenbiz.  Draves has served on the State of Michigan Governor’s Council for Climate Solutions, the Campbell Institute Steering Committee and U of M's Erb Institute Strategic Advisory board.  She currently serves on The Nature Conservancy of Michigan’s board, the Isabella Bank Eastern Region Advisory Board, The Operations Board of the Great Lakes Loons, the Saginaw Valley State University Foundation Board, the Midland Business Inclusion Alliance and is a member and immediate past chair of the Midland Business Alliance.  She has been recognized for her thought leadership, being named to Sustainability Magazine's top 100 Women in Sustainability and the ESG50 List. 

Raj Gupta

Senior Advisor at New Mountain Capital


Raj Gupta was born in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, India. As a 22-year-old in Spring 1968, he came to the United States with only $8 in his pocket to do graduate studies in Operations Research/Computer Science at Cornell. He built a 39-year career at the global Fortune 500 specialty materials company Rohm and Haas, where he retired as Chairman and CEO in April 2009. 

Over his career, he has served as a director at 15 public companies across a wide range of industries, including Hewlett Packard, DuPont, Arconic/Howmet, Delphi/Aptiv, Airgas, Tyco, and Avantor. He also held long-term Board Chair positions at Delphi/Aptiv (7 years) and Avantor (12 years), both Fortune 500 companies. In addition, he has served on the boards of six private companies, including Vanguard Group, IRI, StrozFriedberg, and Aceto. Raj received a BTech(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from IITBombay in 1967, followed by an MS in Operations Research/Computer Science from Cornell in 1969 and an MBA in Finance in 1971 from Drexel University. 

After retiring from Rohm and Haas Company, Raj and his wife Kamla established their family’s Ujala Foundation (which means “light” in Hindi), focusing on education and healthcare, equally directed to India and the U.S. Since its inception, the Ujala Foundation has contributed towards an endowed professorship at Hopkins, initial funding for the Drexel University Gupta Governance Institute, fellowships at Drexel’s Business School and Cornell University’s School of Biomedical Engineering, and other causes, including Raj’s alma mater IITBombay, and several civic and cultural organizations in India, such as Pratham and AIF, and the United States, such as the Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia Art Museum, and the Franklin Institute. 

James Record

Board Member of 3E


James Record has worked in the information services space for nearly 30 years, most of which was spent at SNL Financial, where he was responsible for the creation of new products and lines of business as well as the company's international expansion. An independent consultant, he previously served on the board of Green Street, a commercial real estate data, news and research company. James has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
