Verisk 3E to Co-chair Panel Discussion at 2018 Intelex EHSQ Alliance

On April 18th, I will have the pleasure of co-chairing a panel at the 2018 EHSQ Alliance Industry Conference in Austin, Texas with my dear colleague Kristen Duda, VP of Strategic Alliances at Intelex.  The title of the panel will be “Customer + Partner Panel.”  In this session, EHSQ leaders from leading companies will talk about how they drive cultural change in their organizations to promote safer cultures, environmental awareness and a quality mindset in order to move their company forward and make an impact on the world.  Our speaker lineup includes Obed Varela, Director of EHS at Shire Pharmaceuticals; Jonathan Root, Program Manager at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center; and Lester Engel, a Partner at Environmental Resources Management: ERM.  One key takeaway from the panel will be how to prepare a strategy that leverages the existing culture while avoiding triggers and complications that can derail projects.  Additionally, executives will learn best practices to drive change not only in their organizations but to influence their industry.  Organizational change can be difficult, especially when it comes to environmental health and safety, but with the right tools and the right mindset, any organization can succeed!
